Granite is a compound of cristalizad minerals which account for its
excepcional strength. lt is in the stratification process where the differences
which establish the material's suitability take place. Not all rock excavation
sites are good for quarrying. That is why one of our teams (geologists and
mining engineers) tasks is to analyse the nwterial to be dug out and its
possibilities, as well as otherfactors which define the type of quarry and its
future exploitation.
Tests of resistence, tension, torsion, freezability, compressi.ot4 etc, carried out by the laboratory, are prime information items which GRABASA initially takes into account to decide on the suitability of planning extraction activities in the quarry.
Quarry exploitation carried out by GRABASA is linked to the permanent job by its experts to analise, by means of petrographic studies, each block extraction, whose quality certification will be the label of the products guarantee, for a later manufacture.
